Madison, Wisconsin — Jesi Wang has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations and Client Services. In this role, Wang will oversee all major contracts and product lines.
Wang has been serving in this role since fall 2016, in part of an 18-month transition plan as MetaStar prepared for the retirement of former Chief Operating Officer Steve Laking.
Wang joined MetaStar in 2003 as a Clinical Quality Consultant and has served in various roles throughout the organization. In 2009, she was selected as Vice President of Healthcare Transformation. During her 14 years with the organization, Wang has grown the business in both government-funded contract and commercial product lines and led large- and small-scale health care quality improvements initiatives with federal and state agencies such as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
Wang received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and Masters in Business Administration in Heath Systems Leadership from Edgewood College. Prior to MetaStar, Wang was a Survivorship Coordinator at the American Cancer Society.
